Our Moto “We Serve” defines the Lions mission and is the core principle of our organization this yea; because we are re-energized through the service rendered during the past year, we will again make “fulfilling our motto” be the focal point.
The hands-on service which District 60B Lions provide will become the difference for our territories, for our youths, for persons living with HIV/AIDS, for Leos and for Geriatrics and Senior Citizen.
What are the Objectives we seek to accomplish in these areas:
Youth Empowerment: To provide young people with opportunities for learning, skill acquisition and achievement To assist them with their holistic development with special emphasis on (1) Recognition and management of special gifts and talent; (2) Stress management; (3) Selection of healthy activities; (4) Career development and being a respectful citizens.Plan programmes in conjunction with the United Nations International day in August—One of the Intl Assoc. Global Service Action Days.To encourage Visually Impaired Children to enter the “Power of Peace” Essay Competition
